Diabetes and the consumption of antibiotic drugs also increase the risk of developing oral candidiasis. Although it does not cause pus, but this disease is characterized by the appearance of white spots that resemble pus. These patches are actually a collection of fungi that can grow on the tongue area, inner cheeks, palate, back of the throat, and also tonsils.
  • Mononucleosis infection

  • Mononucleosis or kissing disease is caused by the Epstein-Barr virus. This virus can spread through saliva and most often occurs in adolescents and adults. In mononucleosis infections, tonsils are often inflamed and become susceptible to secondary infections by bacteria, which cause tonsillitis to fester. Other symptoms of this infection are headaches, flu, fever, swollen lymph nodes, skin rashes, and fatigue.
  • Tonsil stones

  • Tonsillitis can be caused by tonsilloliths. Usually, tonsil stones can occur in people with recurrent tonsillitis or have chronic inflammation of the tonsils and surrounding areas. This condition is caused by the presence of food debris, bacteria, or mucus trapped on the sidelines around the tonsils. Over time, food scraps, bacteria or mucus will harden like stones, white or yellow. If this happens, usually the patient will find it difficult to swallow, sore throat, sore ears and bad breath.

It is important for you to know that the life expectancy of humans in the world today is around 71 years, with women estimated to live up to 73 years and men only 68 years. What Causes Women to Live Longer Than Men? Actually, a person's life expectancy is indeed closely related to the pattern of life that is applied daily. However, a study revealed that women can survive longer when compared with men. What is the reason? 1. X chromosome that is resistant to genetic mutations Women have two X chromosomes (XX), while men only have one X (XY) chromosome.
